Former youngest town in America!
Ripton Historical Society is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to engage the community in seeking out, collecting, preserving, restoring, and disseminating materials, records, artifacts, and other aspects of Ripton’s history. RHS invites members from a broad range of historical interests and shall be representative of all age groups, from elementary school children to senior residents. RHS members are united by a desire to document aspects of life as it is today and as it was in the past, and to present our history in ways and in places that we can all share.
RHS was relaunched in 2013, based in the restored town church.
